I have a question about the mondo bag -- I assume I need the pattern? MSQC has it as a kit with the gridded foundation for $15.50. Do I need the gridded foundation to make this tote?

No and no. Don't buy anything. If I do this QAL, we won't be doing the exact Mondo bag, just something "inspired by" it, using our candies. I don't have the Mondo pattern, and have never made one, but there is a free pattern online for a similar bag that I have read. I know how it goes together and we can use candies to make them really scrappy.

Hi ladies. Checking in today! Why is my life so crazy right now? Always?? I read through three pages of comments. First I hope happylab receives the birthday candy I sent last week. Second, I love freaw's orange candy mini!! Third, LOVE all the lists of candy ideas! Fourth, I received a FUN prize for a contest. Thanks Barb!

Lastly, Mondo bag...

I love the idea and would follow along. I've made some with the under stabilizer, it's easy to use and helpful, in my opinion. (I may have pictures.) I hope you start the mondo sew along soon sewbizgirl!
