Just a couple of weeks left to go ladies. Yes, we've had a small swap this time around. But, I thought I'd re-cap all the blocks that have come in so far. They are going to look great in a Patriotic Quilt. I hope you ladies that have made blocks or are thinking, I only have 2 sets (8 blocks) to send in.....Send them, you don't want to miss out on these blocks so far. There is an excellent variety.

Blocks from Jordan. Jordan, I love that you sent in a great variety of different blocks. And, I've never seen a lot of the Patriotic fabrics you used.

Because the swap was smaller then expected, I relaxed the rule on sets of 4. Or, sets of 4 were fine also.

And, here are the blocks I made for the swap.

So, ladies, lots of great blocks. You have outdone yourselves. I can't wait to see if anyone else will join us. I know a couple of people are finished and just about ready to send. So, more pictures soon.

I will have my third set done tonight. It's going together faster. Trying for a fourth set. Will find something faster to do. For some reason shaking a little more sitting for long periods of time with my leg hanging down.

Judith -- I think if I was hostessing this swap I would change my address and run away with all those blocks! The ones you posted are AWESOME!!! I want them all!

dharen7 -- it really stinks when you can't do what you want your body to do. I had cataract surgery last month and it took so much longer to recoup than I thought it should. But I'm sure you'll get better each day and hopefully this swap gives you a goal and lots of fun goodies at the end!

I"m still working away on mine, but hope to finish them Saturday or Sunday at the latest. I don't know that I can do more than the 3 sets...I'll have to see how much time I can carve out after work each night. I'm also trying to come up with another block that is a little different...I figure if I'm different my blocks should be too!

That's awesome ladies. Thanks for the check ins.

dharen, try not to push yourself too hard. Your healing is what's important.

IrishMom, your just too funny. Those are some awfully great blocks. We are all going to have to make some seriously great quilts with these blocks.

SuziSew, Just get done what you can. And, different is always nice. I love to learn from you ladies. Boo on work getting in the way. But, it does support the sewing doesn't it.

Loving all the blocks. Third set done. Found a block. I can do easy peasy. That will give me four sets. I noticed some of the blocks are the ones on Pat Sloans block of the week. Those are the ones I am doing also. But not the same ones. I put my blocks on Facebook so my friends could see them also on Pat Sloans website. I am really happy with how they turned out. our last RWB swap we did I whipped them out a lot quicker.
