Judith -- loving the heart, the fabric "flows" so well into each block! Perfect choice!

PamelaOry - so hoping I get one of your embroidered blocks!I don't have that type of machine so it's fun to see what you can create!

This was the block I worked on this weekend, after this and the basket I might want to find a pattern without triangles! The two pieced parts of the block are called West Wind.

IrishMom, love the block you chose. I Love triangle blocks. I am working on a mini right now that is at least all 1.5 half square triangle blocks. That is such a sweet flag print in the corners of the block. You have a really interesting stash.

The next block I have ready is the Ohio Star.

Only one more set to finish piecing. I am having so much fun.

IrishMom, when is your surgery? Are you piecing blocks while recovering? Be safe, be careful.

Love love the polka dots!!

Thanks for asking about my surgery -- it was a week ago. I'm waiting for everything to heal before I can get a new prescription --so far away things give me a headache. But near things, like reading and quilting, are fine. So the quilting has been a wonderful activity to do.

I'm watching this swap, cheering you all on, but won't be joining in. I have a RWB Sylvia Bridal Sampler in the works (slow going! 6" blocks are more of a challenge than I originally thought!), and I just ordered Eleanor Burns "Victory Quilts" book and a fat quarter pack of '30's/ patriotic fabrics for it. I love RWB American quilts!

I love all the blocks posted here so far! Hopefully you have a good sign up group, Judith! For anyone on the fence, Judith hosts great swaps and keeps them fun.
