When I've participated in swaps like this in the past, we could state how many partners we were willing to swap with. So if you wanted to cut up five sets of candies, you stated you could swap with up to five partners.

NZ, yes, PM me to let me know you want to join in and how many swapping partners you want. That way I don't miss any one's message buried in the thread of our conversations .

I promised to show what I was doing with my birthday candies. So here it is. Each block is from one person's envelope of little treats. I am writing your name on the upper right rectangle. (I have covered Macybaby's real name, but it is on the block for posterity. This will serve as my exchange block quilt for 2021. My local quilt group is not doing an exchange this year. So sad.
I have wanted to do this for years because It is such a nice way to document who is in the group. I have 8 blocks done and will keep plugging along until of you are represented in my 2021 quilt.

What a lovely idea, WMUTeach! That will be such a fun quilt.

I'm going to look through my Christmas fabric box before I send my PM, but I know I have plenty to swap.

I'm going to be stopping by MSQC on my way to GA in a few days, so I think I'll look for a winter theme layer cake just to have more fabric to choose from. Dh and I will be back home before Halloween, so I'll have plenty of time to wash and cut before the mail date.

WMUT what a cool idea to make quilt blocks out of each birthday packet. They would look great as star centers, too. Good thinking!

Xmas block exchange sounds like a great excuse to cut up some fabric! Are these candies supposed to be color drenched (reads red, green, winter blue, etc.) or thematic (xmas trees, presents, holly prints, etc.) or does it matter?

I would say any color or theme at all. It can be Christmas, holiday or just good old winter.

Just PM me with how many swapping partners you would like. A couple mentioned wanted more than one.
