Thank you, Sew Extreme & Ms Grace!
Well. I WAS going to do 1 1/2" cut blocks, with finished size of the 5 pc block 2 x 2. But, I realized the daisies would flat out disappear. I'm 6' 1" and wear mens size large gloves for hand & finger length. I have not done the 5" or 10" 10 min block, only these bitty ones. How the little ones work, is, you get to the halfway point at the seam. You stop, lift presser foot, pull the inside block forward, flatten it out so you dont sew into the floating part, and hold it in place with tension using a tool, I used a seam ripper, put foot back down, and sew the rest of the way. Very fiddly. I would not have been able to get my fingers into the floating block if they were any smaller. A person with more delicate hands than mine would be able to.
But WAY fiddly. I had fun. I learned the block. I will try it again in a larger block. And I was pleased with the quilt when finished. But I will not do another 10 min 3" block quilt.

Quiltmouse, you story makes me laugh and relate at the same time. I tried making D9P with a 2 or 2.5" charm pack. I have the individual blocks made but have not yet tried to put them together in a little quilt. I will not be doing that clever block again with 2" blocks either. LOL
I also do not have a lot of finger dexterity and my hands/fingers are not the long slender ones so I even relate with you on that.
Have a great day! :-D
Your quilt is terrific though!

I received my April Doll Quilt from Springtime today. It is gorgeous. I love the colors and she did an awesome job with the mitered binding - it was her first attempt at mitered bindings.
Thank you for being such a wonderful partner!
