Hop on over and finish my two quilts for my grandkiddos!!! No, then they could not be 'from Grandma'.

At my appointment with my opthamologist they discovered I still had bleeding in my right eye... so they gave me another shot in my eye. Next week I will have my second laser surgery. I wrote that I was sitting out before my appointment... LOL.

My DQ for April is done! All I need a partner and I can put the label on it! I think I have one more month left in me for a DQ swap and then I will retire from the DQ Swap. Um.... okay maybe I am way ahead of myself LOL

This is very true, nancia always comes up with an amazing design. And she has a great eye for colours!

DebbyG - got you all signed up.

I had a magnificent time at the quilt show and even won a raffle prize! It was a thread holder box -- which I desperately need, but in truth could use about 30 of them! -- as well as some books, knickknacks with a quilty theme, and a yummy bundle of fabric. Best of all, there was a guild book and magazine table and I picked up a little book on Amish doll quilts!
I am itching to get stitching my April Quilt -- March's is in the mail!
Ok Krystyna, since my April quilt is done .... I am going to start a base for the crazy quilt tomorrow ....
I just might get this done yet and not miss a month ..... and be able to recover from (are you ready for this) surgery .... they have decided to try to operate now .... I can sew by hand while I recouperate ..... big plans ha ha ha ... well I'm sure going to give it my best ...... I'm keeping up with this swap in it or not ..... keep on quilting!!!!!!
You are so right (I might add) crazy quilting does keep us sane when the world is crazy around us!

I'm in for the April doll quilt swap as well. I've got a few ideas floating around in my head, so I'll get to work on it today. I can't wait to see what everyone makes. :-)

I am in and I have some perfect pinks and yellow fabrics that will be just so perfect for this swap. Yes, it is my pastel stash I have been trying to bust for awhile. Where do they come from, oh yeah, that was Jillnjo's quilt I did them in. They are still here so going to send them out again.
