Hi Lynnie,
While down in the warmer climates you should check out the Mexican fire opals. They are amazing stones! I enjoy watching JTV and have bought jewelry and stones from them. Very fun hobby. My favorites are stones that show chatoyancy like the apatite.

Mary, the april one has an aqua bunny on it with eggs.
Red, I too like the opals, not all that crazy about the orangy color, I do have a nice 1 ct
Ethiopian heart shaped one, set in a pendant with dias all around it. I need a new catch,
the lobster claw on it is too small. I think I want an E-Z-catch put on. Do you have any idea of prices on them down there, I do need earrings and a ring to match.
And I need to replace my Amethysts. I got robbed about 5 yrs ago, and he took them. Deep dark Uruguayian Ones. the ring was the size of a quarter, with 1 1/2 ct of dia., the necklace with 1 1/2 cts of Diamonds about the size of a quarter and the earrings the size of nickels, all heart shapped.All custom cuts and designed. He made out like a bandit on that one. Wheni got insurance money, I did it all over in rubies. now I want my amy's back.

Cute scrappy pincushion. I love it that they included the selvage in the back - what a clever idea. I already have my pin cushion idea for this month, but I think I'll make that one for my sister's birthday! (It would be a neat secret pal gift, too, because you could use her favorite fabric line with selvage name...yeah, I know, I'm a gift giver by nature, always thinking, always planning...)
