Great Molly block. I love what everyone is doing with her fabric.

Very cute MJP, I tried to make a block with a bunch of circles, I was sewing then togther and turning them inside out right. Just got to darn frustrating. Had to give up on it

MJP, brilliant idea and hostess gift representing Boom Swap 18. Great idea! Bravo!! I always send a little something for a hostess gift, but I never thought about doing this. If Janice had a block for every Boom swap she's hosted so far, she'd soon have enough for a wall hanging. We do love our own Hostess. She keeps us civilized, organized and a cohesive group.

When I do small circles like that I do a yo yo around a stiff paper circle pull it tight and press the bee jeesus out of it, then spray w/ sizing and press again, then pull out the paper it will keep the memory of the circle. It is much easier then turning the small circles.

The yo yo technique, but a small seam allowance.

This is great, Bstone. You must have gotten one of the packages with just a small piece of the stripe. I did too. We had to be extra creative!

Hello Ladies

I'm sorry it's been so long since I have checked in. I had my youngest home for 3 weeks and that was really awesome I hated to hug her good-bye. The good news is she is diligently working towards moving back to the US, it won't be Southern CA but it will be on continental US most likely somewhere in the southwest. I can work with that. A couple of days after she left MR Bill and I went to South Carolina I had never been before it was very beautiful. We were there just before the tourist season so we had beaches and historical venues pretty much to ourselves. I've spent the last week trying to get things back in order before we leave next week for Arizona. I've not read the board yet I was worried I would get so engrossed in all the posts I would forget to say hi I'm alive and well and as soon as I get my sewing room in order I'll be working on blocks again.

I made this block for you. It doesn't seem right for you not to have a block. It has everyone's fabric in it. I think someone else (maybe Kass) did this too. I hope you can use it.
