Okay here is the little quilt I got from Nelco. I loved it when I saw it. It is a Modern Crazy Quilt. I kept looking at it and everytime I look at it I find something new I didn't notice before. It took me awhile to realize the center strip has prairie points! The owl in the center of the strip has buttons for eyes sewn on And he sits on a cute orange trim. The gold strip at the top is textured. the pink flowers strip is a trim. Lots of texture and cute details! I love black backgrounds that make the center pop out. so this was a really fun one for me to receive! I also noticed she sewed a few of the swirls in the black corners. I am not great at quilting down so this was an interesting idea for quilting down that I had never thought of before. I usually stick to sewing in the ditch.

wow that was fast. I mailed it on Fri. I'm glad you got it okay.
This is definitely something I've never done before. so it is a bit childish. When my dgs (now 17) Joey was 18 mos I told him a story about a little boy walking through the woods. He saw bunnies in the bushes and frogs in the pond. so joey turned it around and told me his story- 18 mos mind you - about the bunnies and the froggies flying through the air and they hit a wall and went Kersplat! (he hit his hands together hard) lol and they fell into the pond.
my first thought was a What is Wrong with the Picture. then I had a corner to fill and I thought of Joe's story.
there are 8 things wrong with this picture LOL
