August 2009 Doll Quilt Swap (Partners Assigned)
#441
I'm with NorBanaquilts. ALL of these quilts are so special. You can really tell the makers put their hearts into them! And from beginner quilters to old hands, they are all so unique. Kudos to all of you doll quilt makers! I think they are all beautiful! I plan to copy all of your designs!

Thanks everyone, it was one of the easiest ones that I have ever done, the embroidery machine did most of the work, the hard stuff anyway. I had a lot of fun doing it,
I have not even started Sept yet, so I hope you aren't expecting it soon Chele! I am not an overachiever by any means.
for those that are worried, I was terrified when I signed up for Aug. as I ask of my partner is that they do what they love to do. Quilt. other wise we wouldn't be here. it is a great way to try out things that you haven't before or use up some scraps and just have some fun!

Thank you for all your nice compliments. It was a lot of fun making the August Doll Quilt for Amma.
I used the pattern from the book AMERICAN DOLL QUILTS by Kathleen Tracy.
There are 16 projects in the book and I am tempted to do all of them. If only there were more hours in a day.
I believe that Joann"s Fabrics carries this book.
