I am so glad that you received the quilt and tissue cover and liked them. The little item was a pillow :lol: rather than a pin cushion, but you may use it for whatevr you like. I hope you have taken a picture of the beautiful quilt that you made me. I thought my camera needed batteries, but when I put them in, it still did not work. I simply love my beauty from you. Happy quilting.

I have been blessed by many great quilters on this site and challenged to move forward in my quilting. My husband and I retire from our church ( 40 years as the pastor) in two weeks and I am looking forward to sewing until my heart is content for days at a time.

Yes, Congrats on the retirement!!! Enjoy it. Now you will have 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday, but won't have to work on Sun.

I have not seen or heard that my August partner received her quilt yet so I will post pics of the one I made her. I hope she likes it. I used some of my favorite color/fabric selections. I used green thread for the quilting. I like how it turned out. Wish I knew the name of the fabric line. Was it from Wal-mart? Maybe.
