Thanks for the nice comments on my runner. Lynnie glad your OK. I was looking at a mail order book(I think it was Carol Wright?) anyway they had the old bright colored aluminum drinking tumblers for sale. My mom had gotten some for us when I was a kid in the 1950"s. The milk man sold them with cottage cheese in them.Anyone else remember them? That was back when you got towels or dishes in the box of laundry soap too.

Love that little gargoyle> I want one for the front yard. but I'm afraid the brat on the corner will steal it on me. he's cute, the gargoylle, not the brat. Great haul from the sale. That drawer/shelf is a nice idea. I made a crumb quilt. just have to quilt it. soooooo many seams. i was picking crumbs off the floor for mine, alot of fun. some of the 4" blocks have as many as 30 pcs in them. I just tried to make a big pc of fabric and cut it down. that would be a good theme for a pc one month. crumbs.
oh well, 3 more days, then we have to wait for our names. Like the song goes, the waiting is the hardest part.

Lynnie so glad you got a good report. Hello Kitty is one of my collectables, good find. Thinking about purple?????? I don't remember the drinking glasses, but do remember getting washcloths and hand towels in laundry detergent. I wish some company would do something like that again. I sure miss S&H green stamps.

I use to have fun collecting the stamps to cash in for something. I remember growing up, and seeing the wheat glasses, and washcloths or towels in the detergent. Days gone by.

It's getting harder to find soap powder. Most seems to be liquid now.Yes I want sign ups too. S & H green stamps and Blue chip stamps. Looking through the catalog and dreaming. How about the Sears catalog as kids we used to dream of all the toys.
