I agree 100% with JuneBillie. These new mini quilts are absolutely gorgeous. I just love all of the blue ribbons that some of us have been receiving!! I have to say that this has been two of the best swaps ever & I had so much fun being a part of it!! Thank you everyone for sharing your pictures for all of us to enjoy.

I'm very happy to say that I finished my mini last night! It'll be on its way to you tomorrow Linny. It's been so fun seeing everyone's interpretation of the fair theme

I hope to have Septembers sign ups posted soon. The theme.........
"Changing Seasons"
(remember, your mini does not need to be a literal interpretation of the theme, you can just use the theme as a basis for a color scheme.)

Hello Again All,

8 out of 14 minis have been received thus far Very cool. Since the last day of this month is on Sunday, I'm hoping that all of us are able to send by next Saturday at the latest?
This has been such fun! I love seeing everyones interpretations of the theme. I for one love the creativity this little swap lets flow out of me. I get so excited seeing my ideas come alive in this tiny piece of "art".
Can't wait to see to see what the rest of us have come up with.

Next months swap has been posted!!!

When I was a little girl we lived on the Thunder Bay river and we traveled to the fair in our little fishing boat...just pull up and drag the boat to the grass. The ferris wheel was always the first thing we would see, so that was my inspiration for your mini. I'm so pleased you like it. This was a fun swap.

Tlambing that is a very pretty mini you received from Linny. I really love how she did the ferris wheel, and the pretty fire works. Very nice indeed.

This year is going by so fast.

seems as though blue ribbons are the popular choice for the fair... I think all are blue ribbon worthy. It was a lot of fun to participate.
