Hi everyone! Just dropped in to say that everyone as always has made such pretty and interesting pincushions and needle books. They are all so nice.

I seen that little kitten and where he was found so the name Wally. lol.. Well, the nursing home where my dad is at, they have a counselor there and she has her dog Wally who was named for the same reason. lol... He now goes around making others happy to see him. He is so good there, and just walks around checking in on everybody. lol...

nan, he was taken from his mom to early, I had a cat that did it for about 8 yrs. I got him very young and he'd suck on my night shirt as i'd fall asleep. I'd wake up a few hrs later all wet. he love to do it, and I saw no harm with it except that id get up to change about 2 am. he'll be o.k. and it's great that you gave him a new home. he's a cutie.

Thanks for that advice Lynnie. He's so sweet. I'm getting him neutered as soon as I can

Nan, show us pictures as he grow up. he's a cutie and glad he's getting fixed. they can do it now before he start spraying
a question for Mary. do they slaughter the cows by you and the haul them or haul them first and then they get it? we were discussing this at KFC tonight. this is why I have a hard time eating meat and chickens and food that's not a donut.

Lynnie, they take live cattle to the slaughter house. then they kill them. Then let the meat age for a day or two in a cooler. Then they are cut up. I don't eat meat of any kind on the same day I sell mine.Even though I been on this farm since I was 31 I can't stand it. I love my burgers, steaks and fried chicken etc. But I just have to wait a day or so. Even when my kids or grandkids hunt deer. I help dress them and cook for them but I have to wait. Hope this conversation doesn't disturb anyone.

Oh my goodness, that is the cutest little kitten! I had a kitten once that would suckle our ancient (never had a litter/spayed) hound. She adored that kitten and tolerated her even when she grew teeth!

When will the next month sign ups start? I was thinking it would be soon. Do we have a theme yet?

I have so many pages to wade through if I want to see everyone's beautiful summer creations. Or, I can wait for the collage! LOL

Deb, sign up usually is around the 25th. Next theme is rainbows. Use as many of the rainbow colors as you can. Sounds like fun huh?. I was stunned for awhile on it.
