That leaves 24 participants, so we should get 23 envelopes. I'm excited to be opening mine soon!

BTW - we are having a Bday party for me at work tomorrow. It wasn't originally for my Bday, but it got planned for this week so we decided to combine. Going to use the big room so our small group has lots of room to spread out. I volunteered to make desserts, and I've got raspberry swirl cheesecake, Chocolate Sin cake (really dark chocolate) and pumpkin gooey bars. Not sure if I'll have time to make the chocolate peanut butter bars - will see how the rest of the afternoon goes.

I love baking and have not had much reason to do any for several months. DH like it cause he gets the "trimmings"

Thanks! I did not have Kele off my list and NurseLuann checked in so I'm in great shape! I'm glad you had a fun day yesterday!

One more way to use those little 2.5 inch squares. I started with the center of the Star Kissed pattern by Weddingdressblue and ran off in another direction. I demolished by stash of black squares and had to cut just a few more. Top, batting and back all from mys stash. Since we are locked down I no longer have a place to sandwich larger quilts so, I had this one done my a local long arm quilter.

That looks like a nice pattern WMUTeach. Thanks for sharing.

I have some questions for all of you?

*When you cut out your squares for the swap do you cut extra for yourself?

**With the scraps that are too small do you cut smaller squares or do you just toss the fabric out?

*** Would you be interested in doing a sew a long? It would be a mystery. I would give you directions on what to sew (using 2.5" squares) and you would sew them.

****Newbies if you don't have enough squares I would be willing to send my package to you now instead of your birthday (only if you want).

Okay let me know.......you do not have to participate in the quilt - a long (QAL) but it will be fun and it will last the entire year. Nothing fast happening here. And it is a surprise!

Barb
