That's what my paperwork says. I mailed mine today. It was nice to get them headed in the right direction. It's going to be hard waiting for the returns. Everyones pics have been great.

Yes, October 15th is the mailing deadline. International participants should mail before that in order to get the blocks here timely.

I'm afraid to say that I have been working on my block and was ready for the last 2 steps on all 12 blocks, to come and find out that I did them wrong. UGH It's a little complicated block, so I'm so bummed!!! Now, I have to figure out a different and easier block to do since we are so close to the deadline and I have a vacation in between that won't let me be able to sew there. Sorry ladies!!!! But I'm not dropping out.

LOL Dagny....I got out of Jury Duty early today and as soon as I get caught up on my email's I will do just that, "Get off of this website and go sew"......LOL

Now that I took Dagny's advice and went and sewed. I figured out what I did wrong on my original block and am able to save it. So I will be "Froging" tonight. YAY...I'm so glad that I can save this block. :lol:

With another three weeks to go before the mailing deadline, I've already received blocks from approximately half of the participants. Be assured that these blocks are absolutely gorgeous and are going to make fantastic quilts. I've been toying with the idea of photographing them, but my design wall is occupied right now with a project that I would never be able to reassemble if I took it down. I'll see what I can do, though.

As you are ready to send your blocks, just PM me for my address. Please be sure to check the dimensions, and to tag them individually with your screen name and block name, and of course, be sure to include your self-addressed stamped envelope.

About a week before the mailing deadline, I plan to send out a reminder message to anyone I haven't heard from. If I don't get a response, you will be deleted from the list. I also plan to meet the deadline of mailing these back out by the end of October. Any blocks received after that will be returned to the person submitting them.

Bottom line: you definitely will not regret participating in this swap. So, go get those blocks done!
