I bought the zebra fabric at my local Walmart >> the selvage says "Fabric Traditions 2008 Copyright NTT Inc." The leaf/stripe fabric was bought separately at another location for a different project, but they happened to get placed upon one another in the same pile, and I thought it was a nice coordination, and the rest is history!!
Joanne - Would be fun to see other zebra blocks in the same quilt >>> Guess great minds think alike
Let's coordinate on the date to mail our sets to coletta! Or would that be cheating? Let's hear what some of the rest of you think - I don't want to step on anyone's toes! If it's ok with everyone else, I'll pm Madein Maine when I'm ready to mail my blocks.

I think I'm going to wait until I have everyone's blocks before I swap any. If that makes a difference to your plan.

Okay...please tell again what we should put on the tags for the blocks:)

Swapp'n blocks to a certain individual....why not get together w/a 'pm' and swap personally if that is what you want. Don't stress out our leader w/more requests!LOL (Use your own block you get back as a label and put it on the back)And, for those that might get mine or anyone elses that has an allergy to cats or animals.....do what you need to do to de-allergy them when you get them ....mine are coming from a small farm and even if I did whatever you needed...I wouldn't want to be responsible for any serious sneezes!:)Again, putting less on our leader. Just a thread for thought...Skeat

It's fine with me, Celeste. That's why I asked for comments! And I don't want to make your job harder than it already is. You're the one who is going to have her house filled with 63 X 12 blocks - or even more! You have a busy life already.

I think I will try this swap. Was a little afraid to as I do most of my piecing by hand. I have my material and have it ready to start cutting it out. I think I will do the Bow Tie. I haven’t seen any other one doing it yet. This will be an adventure for me using the machine. I have sewed some on it for years but not quilts until I started using it to do the Crazy Quilt.
I will post a picture when I get it together. I have enjoyed all the ones on here that I have seen!!!
