Marietta, I think I misunderstood what you were asking...

A2P, I don't have a 'go to' block, but I do love stars. I like to try different things for different fabrics. The fabrics usually suggest something to me.

Billi, LOL, Yes exactly! that's what I am looking for no box. From that last pic of fabrics, I have that whole line of fabrics, some more than others, a pattern, several patterns I drew up myself, and have had that fabric for over a year and half and still don't know what to do with it, ha. So I picked 3 of them, threw in the blue with one, and am sending them on their way. What I receive back will be far better than what I am Not doing with them lol.

When buying bling it's my understanding you buy for the one that is already "putting out", so no bling for Mister mister until he starts putting out! lol lol lol

Molly pretty kitchen, and awesome stripes! Looks like more fussy cutting in my future.

Definitely in the "no box" camp!!! But there are some of you ladies in that camp w/ me!

I don't have a go to block at all, I surf the web pics for cool and different unusual stuff and then try and copy it if I like it. Some booms I have repeated a block a couple of times b/c I liked it a lot and it worked up so well.

Molly beautiful kitchen. Did you guys have a designer. You and Billi's kitchen look like the size of my entire main level.

if I have a large design I'm working with their are a couple of blocks I like to use to that have a large center. That way I can showcase the fabric. Other then that I prefer to let the fabric to dictate what block I make

This is one print that I have that I love but have no idea on what to do with it. Thinking of using it and asking you to add true red
