My package arrived in Florida on Monday and I picked it up Tuesday night. Now to go through it and my suitcase of fabric to see if I bought anything that matches. Usually, the boom package comes before we leave Ohio and I can go through my entire stash for matches. This year is more hit and miss so I may have to buy some here. Or go on the Mardis Gras shop hop in February. Previously, the shops had a hop in January, but they are doing it later this year. It used to be more "compact", but they have really stretched it the last couple of years.

Bootsy, thank you for the Santa block. It is very cute.

You sure got a better deal on it than I did from Joann's. Nice!

Hav4boys, I hope I grasp what you were looking for correctly. Your block is Codex. There is quite a bit of your fabric left. Would you like it sent back to you?

I started this group last night, just had to do at least 1 I have no preference in sewing ladies, I literally pull them out of the bag from top to bottom, read your requests, hunt for additional fabric that blends and then decide on a block that I think makes your fabric "shine". If any of these aren't your vision for your quilt, please let me know....easier for me to take a few pieces out and replace than for you to do it later....(.'cause none of us will do that) I really want you to be able to use the block I make.

Bootsy, thank you so much for the Christmas block. That was so thoughtful of you and I'm going to make a mat or oversized mug rug for 1 of my side tables. Thank you again

Bluelady I hope my colors are correct, thought that green would be easy but some had to much yellow green and others were blue green. This was the closest to your swatch I could get.

QuilterMomma, thanks for the heads-up about the 1000 blocks book on sale at Connecting Threads. I had to order it! Of course, I had to add a few things to my order. I did get some fabric for the next boom. I wasn't going to get anything until I moved and got settled in my new place but I couldn't resist. My place goes on the market next week. Wish me luck that I sell quickly.
