Good morning! Lots of beautiful blocks have turned up since the last time I was here. I'm posting as fast as I can to the gallery but please remember to shrink your blocks to 200 kb or smaller. There are 25 that require shrinking and those will be the last to be posted. There isn't extra time for that because I'd rather be piecing!

Reminders, 12 1/2 inches square is your goal, 1/4 inch or scant 1/4 seams, color requests, what else? Oh, short stitch length. You've heard it before. Also remember to use prewashed fabrics in the blocks you make. Guess that's it for me. I've got two blocks to finish up today and I'm finally getting my trip to the lqs. Am in serious need of whites. Woo, hoo!

Oh wow lots of pretty blocks being shown, each and every one look great! Sewing day for me, the forecast is rain for today so I will be busy working on blocks.

SBG, how is the thumb doing? Hope the throbbing isn't as bad.

Hav4boys, thank you for another pretty block! I love how you used the white fabric with the swirls that match my fabric.

Pretty blocks, Hav4. I think these booms have made us all better block makers!

Cheesehead, love that Florida Star you made for Terri. It looks like a snow flake. It's the same block I made for Bootsy! Not easy....

Thanks for asking about my thumb. It feels a lot better. Healing is on track...

Janice I may be the culprit in photos too big. I have been shrinking them by 75% (!) so was surprised to see that some still came out bigger than 200 kb. Will be more careful.

*A request about bonus blocks*:

Please don't make them for me! I do both groups and I ship them together to save on postage costs. The last couple of booms my blocks would not fit into the padded envelope, and I ended up paying more for postage anyway. I'd like to avoid that this time, so please just keep my leftovers and toss them into your scrap box. No need for any extra blocks.

I realize I may have caused the same problem for others, so I am only going to make bonus blocks for those who are in just one group... unless they say they don't want them.

Thanks much, in advance!

Terriamn.. ohh.. I love my block.. thank you.. I really think the colors I choose are going to work!! Love the centered flower!
The green looks great.. and.. yeah.. as I went out to find similar greens.. I also found it was pretty hard to get a good match.. so a bit brighter green is fine.. I didn't want to make it impossible! Funny how colors come and go and how many shades of a color there might be..
