Beautiful blocks, Bugaroo! The Wizard of Oz blocks are so creative!

We used to road trip to Maine to get lobster when I was a kid. Sooooooo good!

Today I've been quilting some charity tops that have been waiting. It always amazes me how the quilting "brings to life" what we have done with the piecing. Quilts are magic!

Way to go Bugaroo, they are all great.

My block for Jaba turned out really dark but I think there is enough contrast. Annt59 and Biblistone the colors are off a bit took pictures after the sun went down

Very pretty blocks, Terri! Jaba's block doesn't look too dark when you enlarge the picture.

LAF, I love the scrappy block you made for Sue!

November 1st already. It's a dreary day out. There wasn't much Halloween activity here last night. Was there in your neighborhoods? Maybe next year will be better as I do enjoy seeing all the little ones in their costumes.

Thanks to Terriamn, Bugaroo and Laf2019 for their new blocks!

Time to do my exercises. Have a lovely day all.

It is a pretty cold and dreary day here too. Between snow and sleet and a bit of high wind that is the morning. The leaves are dropping off the trees fast with the wind. This is a great day for quilting. I just posted a pic of the Caribbean Hunter star I made in the picture forum on the QB. This was the inspiration for all the blocks I made for people here. I will get them off in the mail this week if all goes well. As far as Halloween we didn't do anything. I talked to my daughter this morning and she took her little ones out last night. She said about half the houses had a light on. They didn't go far but enough for the little ones to have a bit of fun. This was the first Halloween I wasn't there.
The blocks are all looking so beautiful and even though it is still far away it is getting close to swap time. It just started snowing very heavy.

Very cold and windy here.

Our block was closed off and at one end some of the neighbors gathered together to hand out candy. We didn’t feel comfortable doing that and for the first time ever we had no trick or treaters.

Bugaroo - thanks so much for my Oz blocks - the Emerald City is awesome and the block you chose for the "cyclone" was inspired!

Our neighborhood was much less for ToT than I thought. We had wonderful weather (for Michigan). I think it was mainly the kids in our neighborhood and next to it. We usually get more car loads of kids brought in and I didn't see that last night. We set up a fire pit on the driveway and wore masks as we handed out our candy - and today I am eating way too many Reese Cups!

Julia - I went over to pictures and I love your Hunter's Star. I've been gathering batiks to do a Hunter's Star. That might need to by my 2021 resolution.

Even though we have children in our small neighborhood, they haven't come around in years. We did have a couple of Javelinas walk down the road and sniffing around for their treats. Anyone who puts out real pumpkins is just asking for a visit! In some places in AZ it is against the law to put squash and pumpkins outside at ground level!
Our weather has been perfect and enjoyed the afternoon walking around and talking with the neighbors outside. Then sitting in the shade reading a book.
