Wow wow wow what fantastic blocks everyone is making. I am in awe.
Kristie love your block for Sewbiz and how your fabric choices accent the basket of cherries
Julia so sorry to hear do is not doing well, hope this is a short term problem
Sewbiz your president’s block is outstanding
H4b the block you made for Biblistone is the same layout I have cut out, will see if I can come up with something different with my pieces. All your starts are just plain beautiful. Sad to hear about your mother will be praying for her.
Beautiful here In Minneapolis, yesterday it was in the 89’s and humid a cool front came through last night and we have the house all opened up. Making another trip to the donation store then to nursery for a hanging plant for the lake, then back to emptying sewing room.
Hope everyone has a good day

It looks like I will get started to day on my block making. I am so excited to get started. I have decided on what block to make for the first one. Now to decide who I will make it for.
Teriamn as far as DH goes he has dementia and had cataract surgery a week and a half ago and things are a bit of a struggle every time it comes due for eye drops. We will get through it in due time. At least he is able to see better in this eye and he has the second eye done next Friday.

[QUOTE=sewbizgirl;8486482]Hav, all your star blocks are awesome! I hope you don't scare the newbies with your blockmaking prowess! LOL. I love mine and thank you.
Forget about the newbies, Hav intimidates me! Or should I say inspires me!
awesome blocks everyone. I’ve been looking at the gallery. It’s amazing.

H4B I love my block!!! Thank you so much! In fact, all of your blocks are fantastic.
I'll be keeping your mom in my thoughts and prayers.
Julia, my thoughts and prayers also go out to you and your DH.

Thanks everyone. I will never forget my first couple of critiques in this swap. My first thought was I do not need to participate anymore. So glad I took everyone's input to heart and stuck it out. Right now, I think the BOOM blocks are helping me keep my sanity. Dealing with the medical institutions right now is horrible. Uphill battle, but my sister and I are fighting for my mom.
Starting my second package today. Going to try a few different types of blocks. See how it goes. What I designed in my head might not look so good in fabric. We will see.
