I just read a blog that had a bunch of pictures from the most recent quiltcon. It gives me a much better idea of what "modern" quilts are really like. Besides the nontraditional piecing, the quilting is very dense and lends a totally different look to the quilts. Thought the boomers discussing modern styles in the last couple of booms would get a kick out of it. https://www.leilagardunia.com/blog/m...-2023-quiltcon

th
No, instead let's have Cheese just put the extra in with her other block for you. Two blocks in one bag will keep our count at 19 so we don't go nuts.

Yes, we are fine here. We are about 1 hour away from Rolling Fork, where everything is just rubble now.

A2P, I'm sorry but our information email stated that we use 100% Quilting Cotton only. Seersucker isn't quilting cotton, tho it may be cotton. To me "breezy" means "thin", and it may be hard for some of us to sew with. We have a variety of skill levels in this group. Do you have another quilting cotton that you can send instead?

The F8s are coming in! I got 4 more packages today, from Janice, Hav4B, LogCabin, and Lstew2212!
Here's our roster:

4. Hav4boys I received
5. Hav4boys II received
6. SusieQOH (newbie!) received

I love magnolias too. I'm asking for a cream solid or COC (cream-on-cream) background with matching golds and greens in TOTs (tone-on-tone). I think there's enough variation in the gold and green so it should be doable for everybody. I am asking that no other large prints be used. I want these magnolias to shine!
