Janice, I am sorry for the trials your friends are having. Hospice can be a good thing for both partners. `The sick one gets the comfort of home as long as possible while the other can get a respite. Hospice is also more comfortable and caring than hospitals or nursing homes. I know that my mother was more comfortable in hospice.
Changing subject - thank you for the fantastic block you made for me. I love the yellow, and the pattern reminds me of dragonflies. Your fabric was very fun and fanciful. I hope you like this variation on an Album block.

Hello SusieQOH!
Welcome to the Boomer swaps. You've sewn some wonderful designs. Thanks for adding the purple and white to my funky fabric. That's going to be great with the rest of the blocks.
For whatever reason, your pretty pink floral just called out for a Log Cabin to my eyes. I certainly hope you like it as much as I do.

Hello Hav4Boys.
Thanks for the interesting block you made for me. It really adds to the chaos of my funky pop flowers.
You mentioned this quilt is going to your pinochle club. I hope you have a good sense of humor. This is an old design that I have been working with called "Drunkard's Path". I've seen it renamed as "Friendship Path" recently. I took the easy way to deal with the curves by using a fancy stitch on my sewing machine to make appliques instead of piecing the curves.

Janice I hope your friend receives all the support she needs to keep her hubby home as long as possible. My sister kept her dh at home till she was overwhelmed and he went to into a facility so she could have a few days of respite. Then she decided it was just too much for her to bring him home again. It was a rough time
Sewbiz how is your hubby doing
