Here are yesterday's blocks. First is one for me. I didn't realize how hard my fabric is to work with! Then, the same block again for Reba's Star Wars quilt. Next is one for Anna's pretty flowers, and then one for Log Cabin. I think the block for LC is my new favorite block I've ever made....

Beautiful Block SBG! That is so cool! And I like your one for Anna's flowers, I've been trying to brainstorm blocks for big flower prints.

All are such fun blocks. i bought a modern quilt blocks book and the pattern of the first two blocks had caught my eye too. Love what you did with the floral fabric, displaying a lot of the print. Thank you.

What a pretty dresden, with beautiful fussy cutting, LC!

Here are 4 more I made today. All are modern patterns, chosen to showcase the prints. Hope you like these... They are for Duckling, Anna, Anna and Reba.

OMG, I love this block. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much. I think this quilt will stay with me.
I cut 5 more blocks today. Hopefully I will get them sewn up in the next few days since we are expecting rain for the rest of this week. That is sewing weather for me.

Hello everyone! I can't keep up with all the happenings on this board! So many wonderful blocks!

Janice - I am sorry for your friend's loss. It's good that you can be there for her. Sometimes having someone to listen is the best comfort we can share.
Terriamn - Best wishes for your daughter and BIL (I hope I got that correct). Tell them both to give themselves time to heal and adjust.

**** Apologies if this posts multiple times. The site errored out on me when I tried to post. ****

This pattern is labeled "Friendship Star" in my book. My math was off and I cut twice the number of 5 inch blocks that was needed. So you get two for the price of one! Hope you like it,

Thanks very much for the friendly star block you pieced for me! Your floral fabric reminded me of springtime and picnics, so I used the green TOT to represent trees and the yellow for potato chips. Hope you like it!
