Janice glad you know for certain what is going on with your knee. My very dear friend here is dealing with the same problem and went with steroid injections to put off surgery as long as possible. It’s been6 months and she is happy with her choice. Good luck to you on deciding what is best for you.

My granddaughter moved to PensacolaFlorida a few months ago. This should be an eye awakening experience for her. Hope all in the path are safe

Sewbiz so sorry about your house in Memphis. What a mess. We had a waterbed leak years ago and our ceiling fell in also. Lucky for us my daughter stopped by the house and we raced home or it could have been so much worse

Terri, someday when you visit your grandaughter we will have to meet for lunch and go to A & E Fabric store. I am just across the bridge that separates Florida and Alabama, literally minutes from Pensacola.

Good morning, Squirrels. We’re getting slammed by Helene right now. The rain is still coming down and we’re at 12 inches of rain. We lost power at 6am but the generator popped on so we’re good. Cannot say the same for our neighbors. The power is out for tens of thousands around us. It could be days before it comes back on because the storm is raging and it’s still south of us. Hope you all are safe and dry.

I’ll try to work on my boom blocks today. Have a good day.

Cheesehead we do hope to visit our granddaughter, air fare from Texas is much more affordable than from here. She said they have sunny skies today and no rain. Hope the same goes for you. Would love to visit with you.

Janice how wonderful you have a generator. We have a small one in Texas and my sister has a full house size one so we should be covered in case of another emergency. Is your electrical grid in desperate need of upgrading in NC? Texas is deplorable.

Been thinking about you, Janice. So good you have a generator! It's sunny and fine here, but already raining up in Memphis. Looks like we are going to have to go there to take care of some of the damage from the burst water heater in the attic. DH will have to do some roofing tomorrow before the new water heater can be installed. The wood flooring inside was buckling, but isn't any more. The restoration guys have done a good job of drying out the house. The ceiling, a 1950 plaster ceiling, will have to be replaced. Yuck. And maybe part of a wall. We will be heading up there shortly.

And now I am in password pergatory! I was able to change my password after the hack, and it worked at first, but now it is not being recognized. I can't get in to my email account. On the "forgot password?" link, they ask for a PIN number. What pin #??? I don't have a pin # so I'm dead in the water. Oh I hate computers and pin numbers and passwords. I feel so disjointed.

Last I heard, Helene was moving fast, so at least it will be out of the area soon, I hope. Tomorrow hubby has to do work on the Memphis roof, so we need the rain to stop. Supposed to stop today. Hope everyone dealing with storm issues is ok!

Oh, my goodness I have to go check my chin to see if I damaged it when it hit the table after seeing this block. What an amazing block for my collection. Thank you Hav4boys. And then you did it again for Cheese.
