Congratulations on the new baby girl. Mia Jayde is such a pretty name.

Two are for Cheesehead, one for me, Annaquilts, one for Mariposa, and one for LStew2212

I hope everyone is happy with their blocks. I love seeing all the different blocks coming together. This will be another successful BOOM swap.
Thank you for my block. Great use of the large print fabric. I love it. Thank you again.

Hav4, that paper pieced block is outstanding, thank you! Anna, thank you for the Ohio star blocks they are so pretty.

So sad to see this morning that Donna Jordan has passed away. I wondered why there were not any recent tutorials on YouTube. Sure will miss her.

Last week seemed crazy busy with speech therapy appointments for 2 of the kids, my mom coming to visit, one kid having a small surgery (nothing serious, just ear tubes), I didn't get a moment to sew. Boy do I miss it! I have SBG's block all cut out and ready go! I'm declaring tomorrow a sew day!
Example of life with children! I remember those days and although I only had three, I was a single mom. Boy scouts, sports for three, concerts for three, music lessons for three and on and on and on. Oh, yah, I was teaching elementary or working as a director/teaching preschool during those days. Loved them, miss those days but it is so nice to just sit back and choose to sew when I want. You are a mighty woman to wisely carve out time for your joy and to refresh yourself so you can be a good mom and wife. Cheering you on from afar.

She is beautiful! I imagine you can hardly wait to see her in person. What an exciting blessing! Thank you for sharing her with us. ♥️
