A block for TG, I had a different block in mind when I started out and decided to move the pieces around and preferred this layup.
Janice love your top and the hourglasses.
Sewbiz keep up the hard work and you will have your six quilts made in no time at the rate you are going
When I finish my blocks My goal is to put together past boom blocks in simple setting. The point will be to get them done since I have at least 10 packages waiting to be assembled. Just a little behind

Beautiful blocks All2 pieces and my block today is for you.
Janice Tracey has been holding up well, probably too well. She is being kept extremely busy with getting the dock out and closing the camper for the season. I will be giving her the memory bear today and that will be emotional. We are at lake closing up our camper but won’t be heading to Texas for about a month. After we our finished with ours she should be here and we will help close up hers. Really I will be there just to keep her company as she has almost everything put away inside the camper. Hubby will turn off her water and blow out the lines and we can hit the button for the slides and should be all finished. I made that sound a lot easier hen it is. The worse part is emptying the frig and cleaning it out. We turned it off last weekend so that job is going much easier then usual

Janice - Thanks for noticing the switch-up. I'll have to make certain each is in the correct bag.
Terriamn - The block for me is great. Thank you. Our camper is still in our yard; we aren't ready to put it away yet. I'm still hoping for a local trip before we winterize it. I hope the day wasn't too emotional you and your friend.
LStew - Here's a Christmas wreath and a candle in the window for you. The cardinals in the background are so lovely to see in wintertime. The block isn't as dark as the photo. I hope you like both the bonus and the other.

Thank you Janice for the anniversary wishes we had a lovely afternoon visiting the gardens, driving through the country side and going out for seafood. Congratulations on your anniversary!
Two blocks today. Cheesehead hope you are open for another Christmas tree, I added the gold to match one of your other blocks that had gold in it. Second block is for Susie Q, loved working with these colors.
Funny thing, I was interrupted after finishing one side of the tree trunk. Came back and couldn’t find the piece for the life of me. After looking everywhere I sat down frustrated at my sewing machine and there it was hanging off the back of the machine.

To all Roses, relax. You have months ahead of you to finish. It’s meant to be fun and if rushing isn’t fun for you, take your time!
SBG, two tops are still a commendable accomplishment.
SusieQ, you must realize by now that you must bow to a feline’s wishes and desires. It’s in their contract. I, of course, never have to deal with this since I have a dog. Ha! Below is where Ernie has commandeered my old sewing room chair as you can see below.
Speaking of my old chair, I’m sitting in it now, looking at my design wall. I’ve got my Spring Boom 31 blocks on the wall. I made easy alternates. The picture of it is below. You can see it extends beyond the capacity of the wall onto the floor. These blocks were not meant to make a quilt this big until the Guild said they needed some twin sized quilts for a local charity. I haven’t finalized the Boom block layout and I may add a border. I just finished the alternate blocks. I have three more blocks which will be added to the back. I think I’ll put it all together and hope to quilt it on the LA as my first project with the easiest pattern I can find. It should be “a great learning experience” as my husband loves to say. Thank you to everyone who made blocks for this soon-to-be top. (That’s one of Ernie’s beds in the corner. When I’m in here, he’s usually in the bed.)

Janice, I am jealous of the size of your design wall, is that two pieces of insulation sideways? It looks like it to me. Guess I could ask for that for Christmas..... Yah, that's ticket! Christmas.
Woozers that quilt is something. Like how you used the alternative blocks to show off your boom blocks. Impressive!

That’s going to be a stunning quilt, Janice! Jewel tones and black and white are quite striking. Are you going to make it big, or divide it into two twin quilts?
That Ernie is a cute little peanut. Livin’ his best life now.
Terri, great block for TG. Your alternate color is really sharp.

Well, here is the second attempt at TG’s block. This one you can save Janice.
Janice that quilt top is beautiful. I especially like the trio of yellow stars, it’s new to me, but I like every one and your layout highlights each block.

Janice how are you doing on your binding? Mine is still sitting there waiting to be finished. Is Ernie up and about or just chillin this morning
GramE beautiful block and I agree with Sewbiz it does look like a metal.
Not sure what today’s plans are. Hubby has to run errands and might tag a long just to be nice
The doctor doubled my new antidepressant and I feel so much like my old self. For that I am so thankful and hope it continues.

I agree Sewbizgirl about the medal. I was thinking of your comment while I was reconstructing it. This is from the Moda BlockHeads. Not all are 12” but this one was. I don’t think any in 2025 BlockHeads was 12”, but the are nicely written any many new to me designs. They have a Facebook group and files for all 6 years. A treasure trove of blocks.
So glad you are feeling better, Terri. That’s a good feeling, to feel like yourself. .

Good morning, Roses. I only have a moment as today is full. I’ll grab any new blocks later today.
Terriamn, ha! You asked a question I don’t want to answer. I haven’t done another stitch since I left the cabin. The binding is now low priority as I was afraid it would become. Shame on me.
GramE, that block is fabulous!
I worked on the quilt top and got a few rows sewn. I hope to finish it by tomorrow.
Have a good day!

Janice, those blocks on your design wall are gorgeous!
Ah yes, I know the rules of cat parenting. We've had 13 throughout our marriage. But this guy is all about Paul. All his affection goes to him and I'm just the maid haha!!! I read an article about a "primary human". Seems they sometimes have one person they really bond with. And it ain't me.
