Nelco great blocks, all 3 made me smile.

Janice I have never made this block before but it’s from our beloved “Around the Block” book but I changed it up a bit to accent your main fabric

Last night we went out with another couple to celebrate my belated birthday. We had a very enjoyable evening. Our entertainment was our poor server. She was tall and they had recently hung rafters and had flowers draped over them. Every time she came to our table the poor gal had to bend to walk under the flowers but she would forget and stand up and they would entangle in her hair. It didn’t upset her at all she just laughed and made funny comments.

Ok so I fibbed, instead of working on my old boom blocks I started cutting out another Winnie the Pooh quilt for Great granddaughter. Decided to go with the Walkabout pattern that Sewbiz chatted about.

Thank you for the block, GramE. My collection is growing and I am imagining all of these blocks on my quilting wall awaiting finishing.

I am off to a quilting retreat this weekend. Can you guess what I am taking.....Roses Boom Blocks. Not all of them but a nice pile that I can complete along with another set of exchange blocks for my quilting group. I also have a set of boom blocks (Boom 33 - Stars) to turn into a quilt top. Looking forward to some joyous quilting with 30 other friends and celebrating our finishes.

It is supposed to be summer warm here in the mitten. So no coats or umbrellas in my suitcase this time. Enjoy your autumn weekend everyone!

Hey, there, Janice. I just saw your Bear Branch quilt on Bonnie Hunter's Blog for today! We walk among the famous, swappers. What an honor to have your quilt recognized by Bonnie Hunter.

Way to go Janice! Beautiful quilt. I have two Bonnie quilts hanging on the back of my sewing room door. One close to done but my machine was in a different room than my wall and I was turning the pieces upside down every time I would grab a row. I just drew my line in the sand and said STOP. We stopped but it’s still waiting on me.

And thank you for the heads up WMUT. Great find!

Whoa! I am shocked! I had no idea my Bear Branch was on there until you said so. I do feel special today. Thank you for letting me know.

I finished one for WMUT. I’m not having a lot of success in color choices, this is my second attempt, but I’m totally happy. I just didn’t have and chocolate browns. Nearly all my browns have a bronze tint.
Very nice block. looks great

My last block is for Janice

About 25 years ago my youngest daughter started having serious bowel problems and I had rectal problems from constipation my entire life. I told her if she went to specialist I would go also. Grrrr. At that time they said she was ok but apparently the preparation H didn’t work and I needed surgery. Well you can imagine the jokes I had to live with
This is a great block.

Good morning. It’s in the 40s outside and the heat is on in the house for the first time this season. Brrr.

Ooh, new blocks. Lovely, Lstew.

Ernie barely ate yesterday and spent the day sleeping. Hope nothing is going on with him now.

Enjoy your day.
