I had the nicest day today. I was home alone, just me, the dog, and the Janome. Dog and I sat on the front poarch sipping coffee this morning. I then started stitching on boom blocks. I discovered a block that I'd seen somewhere a long time ago. I have no idea what it is called, but it tickled me to make it, so I've made 5 blocks today, and 4 of them are this pattern which I don't know what it is. lol

After I get these sent out and you have recieved them, I'll post them and let someone, hopefully, tell me what I am doing! lol

The postman delivered a couple of envelopes. That is always fun. One was a squishy from Nurse Bonnie, very nice. The other was TWO blocks from MontanaBlu. I am loving them both! You added a lot of pizzaz to my quilt wall.

hugs, Jupiter

Nice quilts, Wendsy. I especially like the way the red one pops. Your are busy=busy=busy! that's for sure. Your folks are going to love these in their old car.

hugs, Jupiter

OK - Time for me to try to get caught up, it's been a very hectic month, long story short I now have a very beautiful new granddaughter that was born 4 weeks early. Now on to this swap - I have not received squishies from: mbogenpohl, new2quilting, or purplemem. Please let me know if this is not correct.

I have received grown up blocks from: bibliostone, hoppyfrog, fryguymoore, kathy n, ksea, missgigglewings, moonrise, reneebobby, and wendsy.

I'll write again later with a list of who I have sent grown up blocks to.

Even though I'm having a very fun time, I think I'm going to have to bow out of the next one just to catch up with the four swaps that I've done this year! That doesn't include the projects that I have wanted to do for some time! I will be practicing on my LAQ and then will get back in another time! I've seen some of your names on multiple swaps at the same time and I have no idea how you get it all done! I'm glad that we have machines to do a large portion of the housework or that would never get done!!!

All the block are so wonderful, I'm always in awe of the results-especially when we all have the fabric to start with. I have had a great time with this swap and can't wait for #4-I already have ideas for which fabrics I'm going to use. :-D After receiving all these block, and how different they can be with color choice I think 2 quilts are needed to show off the squares to their best advantage.
