My stack of grownup blocks to go home is growing but I'm going to the NW quilt expo today and won't be doing any sewing! Should be fun! Maybe I'll mail some of them next week...

Ksea, your block was returned to me. I had your name and street address correct but I guess my eyes must have crossed (it was very late and I was tired) and I put someone else's city, state and zip code. It will go out again on Monday :-)

I received a block from hoppyfrog yesterday. Very pretty pattern and fabrics! What a nice arrangement! The fabrics are actually black, gold and the green behind the bears. Thank you!

I know this is off-topic but the quilt show was really nice. Some absolutely beautiful quilts, one of our local quilts won Best of Show at the Smoky Mountain Quilt Festival! She placed at Paducah! Took her 3 years to hand piece and quilt a Baltimore Album complete with ruching. So pretty.

We had 8 rooms of quilts! Miniature quilts, motion quilts, Star Quilts, Log Cabin Quilts, and a big gallery transformed into 3 rooms. Very delightful but boy, am I tired now! Happy tired! :-D

I realized that I am going at a very slow pace. I had sent 5 blocks out and have 2 more ready to go. I decided to machine applique my blocks because it is my favorite technique and I am trying to let the fabrics speak to me and here is what I have done since I made my decision was made:
Barbsbus, your block is my creation,
Fryguymore, yours is the "Angel's Trumpet" a Hawaiian pattern from Quilts Hawaii
