My daughter has dreams of going to Ireland and riding a horse on the lush green pastures she sees in photographs!

She would be heartbroken to know it's cold and dull! lol

That's how we have the lush green, damp and rain keep them green. We do get good weather, just not when we want it, usually when the kids are in school. Like a lot of places we had an unusually cold winter with lots of snow, last time we had snow here on the east coast had been over 20 years before. Hoping it won't be as harsh this year.

I have been to Dublin and it may be gray, cold, and rainy but I don't see it as ever being dull!

Grown up block going home tomorrow to Babeyruth. Computer going to the hospital so I shall be MIA a few days. Will be working diligently on grown ups though.

Is anyone in this group doing the October Secret Pal swap? And I'm unfamiliar with the term "grown up block". Where did that actually stem from? Just curious. :D

I would think the grown up block would be what you created from the fat eighth. It started as a piece of fabric and grew up into a beautiful block!
