Oh boy! I got a phone call from the specialists office telling me they had to change my appointment on the 25th of this month to November 17th as they just found out the doctor has a meeting on the 25th. My neuro-op wanted it even before the October 25th and I about had a nervous breakdown when talking to the lady. I said I cannot keep living in this level of pain and vision issue. She said well we can see you in our NY office (my appointment is in CT) and I said for whatever reason your NY office is not participating with my insurance only your CT one is so I have to come to CT. She said well I can put you on a wait list if someone cancels and then tells me oh wait I had someone cancel tomorrow morning at 8..do you want that one?? GRRRR really I was practically in tears and then she tells me that? I said of course I want it so I told my boss I am changing the day and hopefully we will be on the path to answers a little sooner than we had thought! Keeping my fingers, toes & eyes crossed.
Thank you all for your continued support, love & prayers.
Hugs
April

Good Luck! I hope you find a GOOD outcome to this.
Sometimes doctors and their offices can become of a health issue than what ever was wrong to begin with! After 4 surgeries in two years for my hubby and he still is having issues.... well never mind my stress level just went up again thinking about it! OK so I think its time to go home and lose myself in my "CHECK YOUR STRESS AT THE DOOR"
sewing playground!

Prayers headed your way! :)

Received another block. This one from QuiltingKrazy and I just love it. Also posting the two blocks I have received together because they are exactly what I am wanting. This quilt to me is what I would call a 'gypsy' quilt. A quilt full of pattern and wild abandon! Now, if only my life was that exciting!

OH YEA! I got another block in the mail today! I received from Difergi a wonderful western star block. I'll try to post a picture tonight if I can. Difergi... if you have a picture of it, could you post it? I have out of town company arriving tonight and we are going to the mtns for the weekend.

I just love this swapping thing!

Difergie wants wild abandon...hmmm...and all my life I've been trying to keep my wild abandon in check! Well, maybe I can open that door just a little bit and let some out....
