QuilterMomma's F8 arrived today, and the finished block will be going out in the morning. Your fabric really does look like "fire"! 
Veronika - I didn't get to mail your block back yet. I'm not sure about the postage amount, and will need to double check with the post office. The USPS website can be so confusing. It should go out Saturday morning when I have transportation.

One more F8 today, QuilterMomma! I think I have the perfect fab to go with it. Can't wait for the weekend to work on all of them!! I will do a block for Izzy, too. Don't worry about a return block, some things you just do cause you want to.

Oh and hubby got the mail yesterday and saw your daughter's writing. He giggled a little (yes a man actually giggled) and then told me it was the most precious letter he has ever seen!!! Hugs!

Abby's Mom - Your block has become a favorite. Hubby asked if he could keep it!!! That is a HUGE compliment!!!
moonrise - I finally got yours finished. It turned out really nice and I think it will make a great addition to your quilt to remind you of your grandmother.
quiltingnonie - I love the red and cream idea. I hope I did your fabric justice and that the block with "pop" for you when you see it. Hugs!!!

Awww...that is so sweet. I was tickled by it too when she wrote it out for me. I actually took a picture of it so I have it always. Her first addressed envelope and she was so proud of herself too!
