I've received a couple more blocks, hoping that I can have some sewing time tomorrow to catch up my spreadsheet and work on blocks The last three days have been filled with helping out at my mom's house, she is putting in pavers and building a little wall to separate a patio area from a kids play area. I need a nap.... lol I think it's all finished up as of an hour ago though *fingers crossed* so back to sewing for me!

Has anyone else had problems finding the liquid Sta-Flo starch? It seems like it is not available any longer at Walmarts or other smaller stores.

I can order some from Amazon but the shipping said it would be in 7 - 10 WEEKS...how's that for a quick turnaround, lol.

I've never heard of it. I use Best Press.

I use best press also, but I have two quilt teacher friends that use diluted liquid starch and like it best. Will contact them and see where they get it.

Moonwork,my friend says she uses niagra and still gets it at Walmart or Target.

I am also excited about the next swap...have my fabric ready and going to have it out early this time. I have enjoyed chatting with everyone. Feels like we really get to know each other. Thanks to you all

Default Quiltingmommy, your snowflake block is done, well almost!

Quiltingmommy, I am so NOT a paperpiecer! I won't even tell you how many hours I spent on this block-it is really pathetic,

I got it out of the Quiltmakers Blocks mag and I really love it! Before I printed it off I made sure the print size was correct. I just finished it and I can not believe it is only 12 1/8"

I took a pic and posted it in my Boom 9 sent album before I try to add a border. I wanted a pretty pic before I happen to screw it up! LOL

Gaijin, I mailed your block yesterday. When I took it to the postoffice, I had to hold my breath. The postal clerk was the one who always gives me a hard time and I thought for sure he was going to tell me I had to pay the 'package rate' but he just charged me the rate for a large envelope since it did not go through the little slot thingy they use. so it was only $2.90, Yea! I will send the signature square seperate.

I have recently recieved my blocks from goldendog55 & moonwork. These are so fantastic. Goldendog, I am currently debating whether to make a matching pillow for the baby quilt I am completing, or use it as center and make it a reversible. Picure of fabric for back included as well as re posting picture of complete baby quilt top.
