<DL class=userinfo_extra><DT>Hi ladies, just wanted to let you know I am a bit behind in my swaps. My husband was laid off and I had to go back to work, and the adjustments have really been weighing on me. I will finish each and everyone of my commitments, but they will not be mailed by tomorrow. I am also stepping down from future swaps until things get better. Thanks for understanding.....

I have not got my block from Lovngrandma but she said they were in the mail or going to be mailed waiting on postage.

[h=5]Happy Father's Day Dad! He won't see this but I've told him it several times this weekend. Got him a 22" monitor so he can play cards better but the best present was me cutting out a bunch of fabric that he needs to iron [/h]

WOW, I love your quilt, and I do think it needs sashing to make the blocks stand out. Don't know what tho. What about yellow and white stripe going crossway?

Joan do you have green in your bedroom or whatever other color you have. A light green, I think, might make those blocks really pop. Audition it and see what you think. Just putting the binding on mine and then when the rest of the blocks come in should have enough for another quilt.

Jaba, its for my granddaughter and I have no idea what her bedroom colors are. I know yellow is her favorite color. I also think it needs some sashing. Ill just have to take a piece of the yellow to the fabric shop and see if I can find anything that might go with it...its the hardest part of quilting I think...picking sashings!

I personally would do a solid white sashing and then maybe a colored corner store. It would really really make the yellow pop. I am more into solids and modern fabric soooo...
