    Marilyn's Boom 10 design

This is the way I am setting up my finished blocks. They end up being a 20.5" square. I purposely put 1/2" between the corner of the 12" block and the sashing strips.... hoping the blocks will float up. And check out that sashing material. I found it in the fat quarter bundles at Joann's Fabric store. Couldn't have done any better than these...

I got a beautiful star block today from marcialee. Thank you so much for swapping with me. I've added a pic to my album.

Girliegirl- I'm so sorry to hear your news. Some warning would have been nice and the decent thing to do. At least you could have started preparing that way. Shame on them!

I received my wonderful Tinkerbell block from Jannie today also. The pattern is Broken Wheel Variation. Got a new computer today so it might be a while before I figure out Windows 8 enough to load pictures. Might have to get back on the old one. Thanks for swapping Jannie!

Marcialee, your block finally made it. The post lady delivered it to my neighbor who was on vacation for a week. Luckily, I am friends with her and she brought it down today. I wished our old mail man would come back to this route. He was friendly and never seemed to make mistakes. You did a great job with the block. Thanks

    Unhappy Big OOOps!!!

I have received 3 more blocks... I don't have the names with me right now, but thank you just the same. I will post names and photos as soon as I can. I am borrowing time on this computer....

What do "laptop computer" and "red cool aid" have in common and shouldn't?

Yup it was painful to see.... I probably won't be online every day until after next weekend. Fortunately our computer whiz guy is coming for a visit this weekend. For now, my computer is unplugged, battery out, and turned upside down so even more red liquid can stream out.

    better luck next time kiddos...

Hello Everyone. I am posting this for LovingIzabella as she has suffered a setback with her shunt. She is currently in the hospital and doesn't know when she will be home. She will post again once she is home, in the mean time if there are any problems please feel free to email me. I will do my best to help find a solution. I hope everyone is on the downward slope of there sewing as the deadline I believe is Nov 10th. Again if you have any problems please drop me an email. Thank You, Melinda

Sorry to be so long in posting. I lost my lists during the "my first craft fair" panic, but finally found them today. I sold a little over $400-worth at last weekend's fair, and have two more craft fairs coming up this month!

Blocks I've received since I last posted: marcialee and Jannie. Both are outstanding! Thanks! Pics:

First off, send our love and prayers to Lovingisabella and thank you for helping her out.
Second: OH MY GOODNESS< THOSE ARE OUTSTANDING BLOCKS!!!!!!!
Third: What goodies were you selling moonrise to have a great sale?
Fourth: And yes, I have not sent out many blocks, just a few. I will get on these this month after the quilt show. I am speaking and that is consuming some time. Having to try and finish up quilt samples for free motion is a task on the Bernina, but works.

I am mailing three blocks today out. Have the rest cut up and ready to sew. Will hopefully get them out this week even though I am preparing for the show.

I am one happy camper over here. I finished all my swap blocks for this swap last night and am mailing them off today. I truly enjoyed working with your fabric and hope you will enjoy your block. I used a variety of designs and challenged myself on a couple, a curved block named typhoon. I am sure your quilts will be so pretty.

On the other side, I have received almost all of mine. Please confirm If you have sent and I did not get you checked off my list, I have received 12. My list shows blocks I am waiting for as:
    atpegsquiltstudio
    country1
    girliegirl
    marcialee
    NCQuilter

Moonrise, when you get your quilt done, you are going to have to post on here what it looks like. I am anxious to see it with your fabric.
And, yep, I boo booed, marcialee, I do have your block. My bad.
