Here are the 3 blocks I received this past week, from Quiltaddiction, Gaijin and Abby's mom.

Thank you ladies, I love them, will be working on the blocks for this group the first weekend in October. Have a lot of doctor appointments for me and mom over the next 3 weeks.

Alikat thanks for posting a tute for the block, nicely done.
Abby's mom got your blocks yesterday. Thank you so much for making me 2. I can do that little 4 patch no problem, love it, made me giggle your little noteJust so all of you know, Joan ran out of my red but sent me the rest of the block and white for me to make the little 4 patch for another block. You gotta' love that for sure.
The maia group is done so thought I'd show you a pic of my quilt. They did their squares with just the black added. Ordered some varigated thread in the pink and gold colors that I'm waiting on to quilt it. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Thanks Gaijin, it's so different colors than what I usually do, but I really like the way it turned out. I'm sure one of my kids or grandkids will grab it when they're here next month. Might make them wait for awhile so I can enjoy it for just a tad
