I'M BAAAACK! I had the most fun in the whole world visiting my Great little nieces. I got to see all my grand nieces and nephews too. (My niece has 10 kids ranging from 31 down to 4) My grand niece is interested in learning how to quilt and I know if I lived closer she would be doing that. Got to visit with my brother too. But now I am home and I can start on my blocks. I got the following while I was gone:
AnneMixon, dotcomdtcm, Marich52, sisasticher, and warmhugs.
Oh I forgot.....Dottie I hope the weather is absolutely beautiful for an outdoor wedding and I know that it will be a blessing for everyone.
Are we all having fun yet??????

THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!
i rec'd the f8 from travellinggramma and the devil on my shoulder told me "do it". I know i should have resisted but i didnt and her block was done before i knew what was happening. I havethought up various names for it like "not a smorgasbord?---oops!", "the limit is what?"." one fish, two fish, red fish, bluefish","grilled? Nope,i prefer it rare" and "they committed suicide, officer".

RoseIrish - I LOVE it!! This swapping is so much fun! I can't wait to get it!!!
This season I am attempting to make new block patterns. Yea it is easier to use the same old patterns - but i am stretching myself and learning new techniques and giving my seam ripper alot of use!

Wow...the fishy block is great. I have my first one done (for travelinggramma) and hope to get to the PO today. Rec'd F8 from AnneMixon. I too am making blocks that are new to me...it is such a great opportunity to experiment. Are we supposed to post pictures when we receive blocks or when we send them?
