I understand Jaba is swamped right now and family obligations are giving me enough time to admin the swap, not to participate. If anything changes for me before then, of course I will jump in. Maybe the next time for me.

All of you are making it tough, still weighing the yes and no's. I have some time left, I know how much I will miss this swap. Think I have been in all of them from the start. Thank you for caring

This is the fabric I will be using.

Whoever ends up in my group you can use any of the solid color fabric as shown here in this piece. I see green, yellow, white, red, orange. Background is black so no black pretty please.

I do but they are electronic subscriptions which goes to my iPad. I currently have American Quilters Society as a member and I get to d/l bunch of stuff and have Quilting Arts. I also have Creative Machine Embroidery and Designs In Machine Embrodiery. I use to have other quilting ones but let them go.

I love electronic over printed paper because I get to click on links for videos and such right from the electronic magazine which takes me to them and not having to copy them and use a laptop to get to it and typing that stuff in.

I also d/l podcasts of various mediums regarding crafts related to what my interest are which are often part of some form of sewing and/or quilting.

I have a friend who loves monkeys, this is the most intense embroidery I have done so far. Used almost 2 full bobbins. It's been nice to have time to work on some of these odd and end projects.

Clsurz and for everyone else, after you wash your fabric, remove the selvages and cut it up in to 11x18 inch pieces, put each one in it's own small ziplock baggie. You can put a note inside or on the outside with a label clearly indicating your fabric requests. Try to make your request simple so it cannot be misunderstood. BUT please remember, they are color REQUESTS, and some folks have their own ideas. I encourage everyone that if you do not wish to follow the color request that comes with the fabric to please contact the fabric owner and let them know. Some will say to go ahead, others will want you to return their fabric intact rather than make a block using colors that don't go with their vision.
