Thinking about my contribution I realized I should make something that will harmonize with other blocks- probably not a big acid green & hot pick rose!!

I think that the original posting said pink and white. (Check out page one of this thread.) Personally, I would love to see the acid green and hot pink rose :-)

I can't find any pattern that ends up 12 1/2 " square-
12 " aplenty. Should I just add a little to the outside pieces?

If I'm not mistaken, a 12" block finishes at 12 1/2 ". Once you sew it to sashing or another block with 1/4 " seam allowances it ends up 12".

With 1/4" seam allowances, it will be a 12" finished, but will be 12 1/2" unfinished...
