Also, my kids have been watching me as I make these ornaments and they want to make some also. I was wondering if my partners are reading would you mind getting an ornament made by a child. I of course would include the ones that I made but they so badly want to join in and keep asking if they can make something for my partners.

made by your kids is great! My grandsons, as well as their mom, (when she was younger) have made things for my tree. I will be displaying things by hanging ornaments on walls, on curtain rods and in doorways this year instead of the tree. There are 2 kitty fur babies in the house(8 or 9 months old) and still crazy as all get out. I shudder to think what they would do to a tree!

Thanks ladies, I figured most of you wouldnt mind. They are going to be so excited to get to it this weekend. I picked up some extra goodies for them to work on. Figure I'll let them send one to all of my swap partners along with my stuff and any extras we will be donating to the nursing home or other charities that ask for them this year.

Well forgot to mention while I was walking through the store today I ran across an item and thought those would work for an ornament if I do this and then this. Now what is that item? Wait for it...............Thumbtacks. We shall see how it turns out.

Cindy, glad you like them. I have a funny story about year-round trees. When we first got an artificial tree back in the late 60s, I told my husband I wanted to just keep it up year round. My sewing room was right next to the living room, and all he'd have to do was put a door from the living room to my sewing room and I could just opoen the door, slide it in, and cover with a sheet. He looked at me, pondered a bit, and I actually thought he would go for it. His reply: "Not in this lifetime." Oh well, it was a good idea....
Thanks for saying what I was going to say! I had posted the ones I sent also, so the people getting them wouldn't have to worry about posting pics.
