mine are free standing lace, love the iceskates.
sorry for your pain louise, and cindy, maybe dorsal nerve stims might help, takes away some of the pain. I know quilter momma had her nerve cut to stop the pain. docs here in ny won't do that for me yet, (they mistakenly cut the stomach nerve, so that's paralyzed, no big deal). hope you're feeling better soon. I feel your pain
