lawsonmugs that is beautiful! I wish I had the patience to make something so tiny and realistic. Fantastic!

OK The sewing machine ornament is incredible. I'm not sure I should have signed up! My poor little ornament will look pitiful!!!! Beautiful work on the ornaments I've seen so far ladies!

Last night I made an ornament and it's an epic fail. I'll keep trying tho. I have other design ideas.

Mary your sewing machine ornament is just darling! Worked on an ornament today, it's ok but needs to be tweaked a bit more. I may need to go to alternate plan B.

Haven't made anything with Hexies yet - our Guild had a program on them earlier this year and have several I made. Have not done a google search or anything, but a wreath made with them would be cute. Add a ribbon bow and backing -

GracefulAnn don't feel that way. Any ornament you put your time and talent to will be wonderful as Sandy has said " It's the idea someone made it just for you" . Thank you ladies for your comments. I designed this as a pin cushion about twice the size of the ornament about 4 or 5 years ago. I just made one tiny for a ornament and been making them since. I love the hexies people make things out of. I haven't tried any yet. Lynnie makes great items with them. Karen You say ya been a real good girl I guess we'll see what Santa says. Hummm...... Are you sweating yet? lol

That sewing machine ornament is so cute! Not exactly the kind of "traditional" kind of Christmas ornament I was expecting, but really darling - and it sure can stay on display all year round!

I was planning to post some pictures today, but never got around to it.

Maybe tomorrow I will be able too.

We got a call about my dad falling again, and reopening a bad cut on his head. They took him to the emergency room, but he is back now. He fell Sunday, and had to be taken to have his ear sewn. He is in a nursing home, but it's more like assisted living. He has around the clock care. He turned 83 in September, and we all had a great time celebrating his birthday with him outside in their gazebo.
