Louise, you can store a lot of fabrics on that shelving unit. Show us a picture with it fully loaded and ready to go to work for you.

My biggest worry is that it will not be enough space for ALL
    my fabric.

YES I have THAT much fabric. But it will help me to see what
will be gotten rid of, because my #1 goal is to STOP buying
so much fabric, and start using what I have (unless I don't
have what I need which is highly unlikely).

Louise, I have an entire wall of fabric all neatly wrapped as "mini bolts" for the cotton (quilting) fabric and you know what? I never seem to have just the right fabric for any project! So I buy more...... it's a vicious cycle.

How fun Louise! Enjoy your new shelving. I remember when hubby set up my shelving and cabinetry for my stash. It took somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 months to get it all washed, pressed and organized into them. I hope yours goes faster than that!

Red -- I picked up my mail as I got in the house ... but no package! But ... I'm hoping ... I get it tomorrow!

Louise - is your bookshelf 93" tall? I would need a serious ladder to reach the top shelves! Maybe like the ones they have at the library!

I am only 5'2" tall myself. So yeah I am going to be needing a tall
step stool myself to reach those top shelves.

However my hubs is 6'3" tall so I will beg him for help when it comes
    time.

That was so sweet of your husband.

Quilty, I know you may not want to take extra time to do this, BUT----I got the comic book boards from WM (online), 100 for 11.00 and I wrapped all my fabric on them.. OH they are so nicely displayed now...I love them. It did take a while, but they stand so proud now on my shelves. I would just take a stack of fabric and work on that, then do something else, so it did stretch it out..lol The ones I found at WM are the best for the price, I've not been disappointed at all. Jes a thot..
