Carolyn, no one is upset with this......we all understand that life gets in the way of life sometimes, and many times the road blocks are just too deep or wide to navigate. I am sending prayers for gentleness - be kind to yourself. HE is always sending comfort and support. Let me know if there is something that I can do to ease this.
Deb Watkins - I woke up today on the right side of dirt. It is a good day.

    Carolyn, God Bless dear...

Today I sent my daughter and her babies and hubby on their way home to Florida. To console myself I finished my last block, Virginia. Here are pics of all three and a close up because the "Cheddar" in doubleT is SO yellow. I promise, they are all muted colors. I asked someone about my Virginia Star and she said..."Looks like colors my Grandmother would pick" she didn't know my project and also said, "It screams Civil War..." Hope you agree. Remember, I love LOVE plum and cheddar.

They look yummy. They remind me of sweet potatoes. I hope I get a blue one and a sweet potato one.

Your blocks look lovely SheriR! I know about the picture thingy...sometimes the lighting just won't cooperate and give you the "real" color. Great job!

Out of my box and using prints for everything in this block. EEEEEEEK...no solids, but I always use solids! That's Deb, pushing people out of their boxes.

    Hope you like.

O M G.....FRAEW - those are beautiful......I will absolutely take credit for pushing everyone out of their comfort zone. It does make everyone so proud when they finish their blocks. I am so blessed that I seem to have a following for all of my swaps. I have at least 15 returning swappers for all of my swaps. Thank you ladies, for continuing to 'follow' me.

Deb, I haven't heard that you received my blocks, which I mailed on September 28. Please say you got them!

And on another note - Gagasmith and I were supposed to work a village community/craft day celebration on Saturday. The weather was so nasty, that on Friday night we decided not to participate. Instead we went to Panera's for lunch then headed to Dansville - Material Rewards. LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY us. We hit it on a day that there was a 25% STOREWIDE sale. I gotta tell you, the drool was running down my face. Well, I did manage to wipe it off before it hit my shirt. My purchase was mostly Asian fabric.....Gaga was much more restrained than I was. And to think that there will be another sale Super Bowl Weekend. COME ON FOOTBALL!!!
