I will have my blocks in the mail by Tuesday also. I came up short and had to make up a dozen. My husband has been terrible sick. I don't drive anymore, guess I will start up again. We even had our groceries delivered!
Honchey and Trish, I hope you get better soon.

I'm getting better every day.. A steam vaporizer really helps me sleep at night plus all the other stuff I'm taking.. Not coughing as much but still have the grumbling in the chest.. I went shopping this afternoon and did a lot of walking and now after a hot bath I'm ready for dessert then off to bed. I'm really tired. I won't be cooking tomorrow it's Pizza day and sandwiches for lunch. Then I'll be off to my happy place..Guess where that is .

Have a good evening.

Hi Everyone, I have to check the mailbox today, there might be a squishie in there!

There also may be one or two that won't be on time I don't think anyone will mind. I still have to swap them out.

I'm feeling much better, still have the crackling in my chest and after doing some errands I'm very tired. Other than that I still have some blocks to make.
The stitchers group I belong to was invited to a ""Tea" sponsored by the Novant Hospital. We donate many different items that we make they give to the patients to help them recover. It was very nice and we went home with lots of goodies that were donated to the event. Fiberfill, fabric, yarn, etc. it all helps.

Are all of you anxious to get your squishies???

Hi. I mailed my blocks today. I had all kinds of trouble making the blocks. I have at least 25 that are a tiny bit (1/16")to small. I did not want to resew them so I just made more being extra careful and measuring as I went along. I did use the thin thread as advised but my 1/4" stitching line was too wide. When I started using a scant 1/4" line all went much better. After 50 or so years sewing there is always something different to make me pay special attention. I am looking forward to seeing all blocks in new projects.

I didn't leave the house yesterday because of the snow we got. So my package will get mailed off today. Sorry for the delay.

Not to worry QB, I won't be swapping them out until the first of next week.. The weather has been horrible for most of you.. I like the first snow of the winter season but after that it's just a pain in the butt!

I'm hoping that all of you are not upset with any delay we've had here..Life just seems to get in the way sometimes. I'm still working on my last 2 sets. now to square them up and then I'm done, done, done.

H
PS. All the blocks I made before my travel to NC are still in NJ.
