I have looked high & low for 2.5" sectioned boxes wherever I go and haven't been able to find any such animal!! One of the ladies here on the board aid she bought one at Joann's and I have yet to find one..

Go to Bass Pro and look at the tackle boxes. You may have to buy one full of rubber worms or something, and dump them out, but they are usually a lot cheaper than the ones sold as "crafting boxes". They are the same boxes, just marketed to different customers.

Well, I had a fun weekend. My friend and I hit a few quilt shops and a quilt show! While shopping, I found lots of light colored fat quarters to cut up for candy. Also, the quilt guild hosting the show had their own booth and were selling odds and ends. I got 2 scraps with about 1/4 yard of each for $.50 for the two....and they were lights, so that made it even better! I've been cutting candy this morning, preparing for the next swap. I usually wait until the end and have to cut it all at once, but since I have these new fabrics, I figured it would be a good idea to work ahead a little. I'll be working on my split nine patch w/ my candy this afternoon. I'm looking forward to the next package coming in the mail.

Cyndy. That sounds like a great day! I drove two hours to a DearJane class. I thought....four hours driving is a lot of sewing time....bug the teacher is so good. She has great little tips for all the tiny Jane pieces.

I'm about ready to swap. I should be able to get all the candy mailed in the next few days. I'll keep you posted!

I'll be out of town for the next week. Going to Oklahoma to see my first great grandson. He should be here the 17th if not before. Hope to have candies waiting for me when I get back.
