Gus,
We'd love you to join!! We always have a great swap group! But just remember these 2.5" 'candies' are VERY addicting. I like your Friendship Triangle idea. If it's only squares sewn on diagonal I done know why you couldn't use any size, so why not 2.5"!!!
I'm planning a surprise for anyone who shows me they're sewing candy! So post pictures!!!
ALSO...I'm off to North Dakota again with my daughter. Not really looking forward to the three day drive with her Mastiff, but I love the grandkids!! I told her we can do the RowByRow ShopHop all the way there!!! Great idea, right?!!?! Just remember I'll be slightly out of pocket.
HappyQuilting!

No completed projects yet, but here's what I've done with my candy -
I totally copied PeginCo's super cute patriotic pot holder. (Hope you don't mind, Peg!) Need to get the binding on, maybe it will be done by next July 4th.

I've made stacks of 16 patch blocks. Haven't decided what to do with them yet.

Kele, great start on those 16 patches!!! When i first started collecting 'candy' I planned on full charm quilt, starting with 16 patches. Maybe I should still do that! And I love y'all's patriotic potholders. I bet you could bind that in minutes!!!!!

Sheri, I definatly want to join in but want to at least start cutting before I officially sign up. I have been doing checkerboard blocks to eventually make a full checkerboard quilt. Also have a mug rug ready to bind, quilted by hand and hate the quilting so have to take that out and requilt it. Talk about primitive! I love Kele's 16 patch blocks and pot holder. I think that should be in the future for me.
I just learned how to shrink my photos so now to learn how to post them myself. Just seems like their isn't enough time in the day to do all I want to do!

I can't believe I missed seeing this swap. Of I would love to join. I was wondering when I was going to use my Go again. It is looking at me from the shelf under the coffee table. I would sign up for the 15 cotton's. I don't have any new batiks and I am in a fabric shopping moratorium.. Ughhh. At least I have tons of new to us cotton to swap..
I am guilty of not using any of not making anything with the candy I have, and I am not a hoarder.. I am waiting to convince a bunch of non quilters to come over, and learn how to quilt. I am working on convincing my staff that it is really easy to sew and am willing to set anyone up with all that they will need to make a quilt including a machine.

Ptquilts posted this link in another thread. I think it's AWESOME! I also like the quilt pictured above it with candu and stars! http://weddingdressblue.wordpress.co...-up-odd-quilt/
