    i have a question....
did i read somewhere that we're supposed to use wool felt for the needle case? if so, why? where do i find it? i got some felt, but it was labelled 'craft felt' and i didn't notice what it was made of, so it's probably not wool...what do i do? or is this 'panic' unnecessary?

I think I now know why some swaps limit you to one spot in the assignment line-up. Kind of time consuming to double check and make sure you didn't get partnered twice with the same person. And this time I looked back at the November sheet and tried not to duplicate any partnering from Nov with Dec. But won't do that again, will be too much to go through all that in January, so it will be pot luck in the assigning!
didn't get assignment sent you a pm!

Welll, to tell the truth, I just copied the info the the previous host of this swap had written up. I really don't know. I think wool felt is expensive and don't think it is neccessary. Any one have any feelings on this? The needle cases I received did not have wool felt, I don't think.

I don't care, as long as it looks nice. wool felt is hard to find. saw some yesterday only colors was natural and a dark grey.
Sent mine out you should get it by Friday, so start looking for it.

I have only had one needlecase and the insert was felt (not wool) I believe.

This is only my second time swapping a needle case and I don't really care what it is made of.Mine was just beautiful that I recieveed last month. I use mine for show not usually for actual use.Same with pin cushions. I have a couple that were made for me and are used daily. Most are too nice or cute for use.Just my opinion.Mary

i'm trying to find time to work on mine...looks like i won't be able to until friday. but i'll get it done this weekend! i made a sweatshirt for my husband in one day, start to finish, pattern never made before, so i'm sure between friday and saturday i'll be fine. maybe i'll even be able to send it saturday! (post office will be closed, but hy-vee takes packages, too!)

this swap is such a great, fun idea! thanks so much for starting it!

this swap is always fun, usually more chatter, but with the holidays, people dropped out. BUT...the next one is after the holidays, so there's no excuse for not swapping. From all of us swappers to our fearless leader, thanks for all your time, effort, sweat and threads. We greatly appreciate you.
